Many years ago there was a lovely spot for galettes owned by a Niçois couple on this corner called Pâtes et Traditions. The same ownership team has now returned with an updated but similar menu at the same corner, now titled Maison Provence…

Finally the Pates et Traditions people are back with a cafe equally cute and the same quality cooking. The French onion soup, Crepe Normandie, and chicken and lamb crepe were all completely delicious. Glass of Sancerre….finally a good glass of wine! Our waiter was a cheery delight. Not crowded!

A Williamsburg gem that somehow got even better. We were so happy to return to this place–it used to be one of our favorite spots in Williamsburg before COVID. Coming back today and finding that the flavors are somehow even better than we remembered? INSANE…

A Little Piece of Nice in Brooklyn at Maison Provence!! Nice is one of my favorite cities in the world, and Maison Provence brings a piece of it to Brooklyn! Their crêpes are exquisite, and the pastas and salads are bursting with flavor. The cozy atmosphere makes for a perfect brunch or dinner, feeling just like home. The drinks are refreshing, and the desserts are absolutely heavenly! For a delightful taste of Nice right here in New York, you have to check this place out! Highly recommend💕 Isabella and her husband opened up a beautiful restaurant!!!

I almost want to gatekeep this local gem so I can always come without a wait for all their delicious dishes. My favorite was the duck and mushroom pasta 🫠 but I enjoyed the cheese plate, onion soup and dessert crepes. I can’t wait to come back and sample more on the menu! Incredible price value with an eager to please team.

About Chef Lolo

Born and Raised in Nice, France

Growing up in a family of musicians, I always dreamed of New York and the United States. My love for cooking began in the kitchen of my adoptive grandmother, Mémé Olivier, a true Niçoise from many generations. She taught me how to select the freshest fruits and vegetables at the market, the secrets of preparing traditional Niçoise dishes, and even how to set the table and wash the dishes. Her guidance shaped my passion for food, and I am forever grateful for everything she did for me.

“ Maison Provenmance is an absolute gem in Williamsburg"

Maison Provenmance is an absolute gem in Williamsburg. From the moment you walk in, you feel like you’ve stepped into a dreamy café somewhere in the south of France. Every detail — from the murals on the walls to the charming French playlist in the background — has been thoughtfully curated with love. The food? Incredible. Their savory crêpes are next-level (highly recommend the Crêpe des Sultans!), the duck fettuccine is rich and flavorful, and the socca is a perfect crispy bite of street food nostalgia. We also tried a few cocktails, and each one was as beautiful as it was delicious. The owner is incredibly warm and passionate, and it shows in every corner of the space. Whether you’re stopping by for brunch, joining a Thursday paint & sip night, or just enjoying a slow meal with friends, Maison Provence makes you feel at home. This place is truly a hidden slice of the Côte d’Azur in Brooklyn. Already planning my next visit! 💖🇫🇷
